I am a textile artist working in mixed media, creating work to exhibit as well as developing fabrics and quilts as couture interior design textiles.
Currently I have work in exhibitions in Cumbria and Ukraine, and later this year 2 new pieces will be exhibited in the European Art Quilt final exhibition: Grand Finale in the Netherlands.
I have also had the thrilling experience of exhibiting in my own gallery at Festival of Quilts 2015 and in the same quilt show, I featured in the Quilters Guild ‘In The Spotlight’ gallery as the quilter representing
Region 2.
I graduated with Distinction in my Masters degree in 2015 which was absolutely thrilling, followed closely time wise (and in excitement) by being accepted into the prestigious international group Quilt Art, working alongside and following in the footsteps of many of my quilting heroines.
Then in 2016  I exhibited with a group of friends in unFOLD at the Knitting & Stitching shows in Alexandra Palace and Harrogate in a gallery entitled: “Curious as an Object”. The gallery was very well received and we are now working on another gallery exhibition based on the social history of women’s lives as outlined in a fabulous book: The Button Box by Lynn Knight.
I enjoy teaching from a well equipped print studio in the centre of Eastbourne. If you are interested in doing courses with me I have some information on my Courses page, but more details can be found on the Studio 11 website.
